
Have you checked out the latest events going on in October? From being an environmental activist to being a Jedi, GSMBC has got a fabulous October lined up for you:
- Go for the Silver: Want to earn Girl Scout's 2nd highest award? Get the how-to's & FAQ's at this training on October 1st, 6-7:30pm at the GS Service Center or on Oct. 20th, 10-11:30 at Ft. Oglethorpe United Methodist. For girls in Grades 7-9.
- Tennessee River Rescue: Get involved to clean up the environment in your own backyard. Questions? Call the hotline recording for more information (423) 785-4177 or call TRR Coordinators: Christine (423) 718-7057 or Nancy(423) 413-0700. Visit us on the web at http://www.tennesseeriverrescue.com/.
- Program Aide: Do you like working with younger girls? Want to work with troops or at council program events? Then, you have to attend this training so that you can be an awesome helper for troops and events! For girls in grades 7-10. The next session will be Oct. 13th from 9am-3pm at the GS Service Center.
- Go for the Gold: Thinking about earning the highest honor award in Girl Scouting? Get all the info at this training on Oct. 15th, 6-8pm at the GS Service Center or on Otc. 20th, 12:30-2:30pm at Ft. Oglethorpe United Methodist. For girls in grades 10-12.
- Me & My Gal at Camp Adahi (Star Wars Theme): Calling all Star Wars fans and their Dads! Join us for a weekend at Camp Adahi with your Dad (or other significant adult male). Oct. 19th-Oct. 21st. For girls in grades 4-12 & significan adult male.
- Gold Award Applications: Working on your Gold Award already? Don't forget that if you are applying for the Nov. 13th interview that your application must be received by Oct. 25.
